This Poster was created as an option for Illinois State University’s Office of International Engagements Southeast Asian Cultural Festival. Although it was not chosen, all elements are inspired by the rich and diverse culture of the southeast Asian region and brings in symbols of celebration and togetherness. The lantern symbol showcases one of the events at the festival, lantern making. The typography selected is from the Republish Foundry in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
