about Internship
As the Graphic Design Intern, I create visual materials for every department under the Dean of Students, including Student Activities, Leadership Education and Development, Sorority and Fraternity Life, Student Conduct, Parent and Family Services, and Student Access and Accommodation Services. I work closely with the marketing and events coordinator to update existing materials and design new ones, from digital screens and social posts to printed pieces, logos, and identity assets. For each project, I develop 2–3 design options that follow the ISU brand guide while still exploring creative solutions when appropriate. This internship has strengthened my ability to collaborate with a variety of clients within the Dean of Students Office, manage deadlines, and bring fresh, professional ideas to a wide range of campus needs.
